Description:
Exit Interviewing serves to inform the instructor, through conversation, exactly what the students thought and often what they learned (though actual content retention and comprehension is demonstrated through final exams, portfolios, and projects). Interviews may be conducted in a one-on-one fashion or in a group situation. They may be conducted by the instructor, but often it is more advantageous to have an individual external to the course conduct the interviews WHILE THE INSTRUCTOR LEAVES THE ROOM.
